Pediatric Cardiac Code
At the end of this simulation participants will be able to :
1. Recognize shockable and non-shockable rhythms.
2. Manage an infant in cardiac arrest per PALS guidelines.
3. Demonstrate high-functioning teamwork with clear role assignments and closed-loop communication.
Note:
We recommend that two roles run this scenario:

Facilitator: focuses on the learners, answers their questions and notes aspects of team medical management, teamwork and communication skills for discussion in the debrief.

Sim Scribe: navigates video and documents learner actions through clicking the corresponding buttons on the screen
2. Video
The video includes frame of an animated patient next to a monitor with vital signs that change based on the patient's clinical condition. There is also a prerecorded, narrated prebrief, dispatch, and debrief that you can use to help faciliatate the simulation.
Use the video's clickable hotspots to navigate to different parts of the video and find content faster. You can also download the video and use if offline, starting and stopping it as indicated.
3. Surveys
