Penetrating Trauma

At the end of this simulation, participants will be able to:

1. Perform a structured Pediatric Trauma Primary Survey.

 

2. Assess and manage external Hemorrhage Control.

3. Recognize signs/symptoms of a Tension Pneumothorax.

 

3. Perform intervention for Tension Pneumothorax.

and many other resources to help you facilitate the simulation. 

2. Video

​The video includes frame of an animated patient next to a monitor with vital signs that change based on the patient's clinical condition. There is also a prerecorded, narrated prebrief, dispatch, and debrief that you can use to help faciliatate the simulation. 

​

Use the video's clickable hotspots to navigate to different parts of the video and find content faster. You can also download the video and use if offline, starting and stopping it as indicated. â€‹
