Suicide Risk Assessment
At the end of this simulation participants will be able to:
1. Introduce and explain the suicide risk assessment tool while maintaining support and emotional safety.
2. Navigate barriers to completing the suicide risk assessment tool.
3. Accurately identify level of risk through an evidence based suicide risk assessment.
4. Develop a safety plan and initiate appropriate interventions based on identified level of suicide risk.
2. Video
The video includes frame of an animated patient next to a monitor with vital signs that change based on the patient's clinical condition. There is also a prerecorded, narrated prebrief, dispatch, and debrief that you can use to help faciliatate the simulation.
Use the video's clickable hotspots to navigate to different parts of the video and find content faster. You can also download the video and use if offline, starting and stopping it as indicated.
